It is reality, the internet has scammers. In an effort to educate our users we have giving you a way to become confirmed member. This will provide users a way to know more about you and to be able to make a more educated decision on if they wish to trade and/or purchase from you. What does a confirmed member mean? Anyone can say they are PayPal verified or have 2000 positive feedback with the id 'joebob' at Ebay. A confirmed member means that we have confirmed the Ebay and/or PayPal info of that member. This in no way means that TCN confirms this person as being safe or unsafe. We are simply providing a service of confirming information. Be carefull and keep in mind the users confirmed info. A user that has confirmed info of 2 feedback on Ebay and is a normal PayPal member is not as established as a member with confirmed info of 200 feedback on Ebay and is a verified PayPal member. What is the difference between a normal PayPal member and a verified PayPal member? To become a normal PayPal member you need to provide your name, address, and email address to PayPal. To become a verified PayPal member you must provide additional user info including bank account information or in the case of publicly-traded corporations or well-known public entities you must provide substantial business data. How to become a confirmed member: We recommend doing both options. Option #1 - Give us your Ebay Id. We will then go to your account and use the Ebay system to send you an email. You then respond to that email, thus confirming that it is your Ebay Id. Upon confirmation we will then add your Ebay Id, total Ebay feedback number, percentage of positive and the date confirmed onto your TCN page. Option #2 - Give us your paypal email address. We will send you an email to this address. You then respond to that email, thus confirming that it is your paypal email address. We then will us the paypal system to confirm your status with them (normal member or verified member). We will then add to your TCN page the paypal email, whether you are a normal or verified paypal member and the date confirmed. ** You may request to have your confirmed info updated. Please hold your requests to one every 2 months. |
