Box Break - 2007 Aspire Football - Box 01

2007 Aspire Football (Hobby) - 24 packs - 4 cards per pack

Below are our video results for the box break. We also have photos of all the cards pulled, broken down by pack. Please enjoy the break!!

2007 Aspire Product Overview

Aspire is one of the premiere releases of strictly college players every year. The higher quality product than Press Pass is also a much smaller set that can easily be completed from one box. Certain insert sets should also be completed or mostly completed with one box. And you can easily find the rest of the cards you need on tradecardsnow.com.

2007 Aspire Base Set Overview

A small base set of just 33 cards allows collectors to get all of the biggest names from the 2007 draft like Brady Quinn, Troy Smith, Calvin Johnson, and Adrian Peterson in every box. You also should get some duplicates of these top players which you should be able to trade on TCN for any of the low-end inserts you may not have pulled.

The drawback comes in when collectors want a set that has the Peyton Mannings, Tom Bradys, and Larry Johnsons in it. Aspire will not fit these collector’s needs. So overall, the checklist becomes weaker even though it has such a strong crop of rookies.

The base set design has the normal feel for Aspire. The cards have three colored stripes along the bottom. The bottom stripe is solid red with a bit of black on the left side. In the middle is a black stripe that has the player’s position written in white letters on the right side. On top of that is a white stripe which has the player’s number in white text inside a red box on the right side and the team logo in a red box on the left side. A red and black border runs along the right edge. The player names appear in white on this right side border and run across both the black and red. The Aspire logo is in the upper right corner.

2007 Aspire Rookie Overview

While not technically defined as rookie cards by Beckett or the majority of collectors, Aspire is filled completely with rookies. While certain rookie collectors won’t go after this product because the cards aren’t official rookie cards, many people who can’t afford to get more expensive products can look to Aspire to get their favorite draft picks inexpensively.

2007 Aspire Insert Set Overview

Aspire is an insert collector’s dream come true. On average collectors should get around 1.5 inserts per pack with some packs having up to three. Century Club is an easy set to complete or nearly complete out of one box. Collectors should also get plenty of 5-Star inserts as well as School Pride cards.

2007 Aspire Relic/Autograph Overview

Aspire has some nice guarantees for a strictly rookie product: 2 autos and 1 relic. For autos there are regular autos, 5-Star autos, Combos, and Century Clubs autos. For relics, you can find ticket cards and game-dated relic cards. There is one dual auto/swatch set which is from the game dated set.

2007 Aspire Final Rating

2007 Aspire gives collectors of all kinds an opportunity to find something they want when it comes 2007 Draft Pick needs.

For set builders, you should get about 100% of the base set. You might also complete an insert set or two. And with the amount of dupes you get, you could be well on your way to a second set.

For the rookie collectors out there, you may or may not want this product. These cards are all of rookies, but not defined as rookie cards. So it is all about personal preference if you a rookie collector.

If you chase game-used and autos this is a good product. While you aren’t going to get any prime patches, you do get three cards and the potential to get a future NFL HOFer. How sweet would Brady Quinn, Calvin Johnson, and Jamarcus Russell be as your three cards?

Aspire is a good product for most collectors. It is an easy set to complete, filled with rookies, an inexpensive way for younger collectors to get 2007 rookies, and has assured autos and relics.
